Friday Orchard Notes: Heirloom Tasting & Farm Walk Join us for an intimate, multi-sensory afternoon exploring the rare heirloom fruits of Goronson Farm, running weekly through September and October from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Tickets are $30 per person (one child under 12 free when accompanied by a parent) and must be purchased in advance by Thursday at 12:00 PM.
1:00 PM - Arrival: Welcome at the farm, receive printed materials, see a potted etrog, and view Pompadour Fudge and his ducks swimming near the tent.
1:15 PM - Terroir Fruit Walk: A guided walk through the certified-organic orchard to observe our heirloom pears and apples while discussing the seasonal story and terroir of the trees.
1:45 PM - Plant Biofeedback Listening Session & Fruit Tasting: Gather near the Music Of The Plants devices under the tent to experience live musical soundscapes translated from botanical frequencies. Enjoy a tasting box featuring sliced samples of our heirloom fruit paired with our homemade lemonade. (Guests are welcome/encouraged to bring a picnic lunch).
2:45 – 3:00 PM - Labyrinth Meditation: A peaceful, self-paced walking meditation through the farm's labyrinth to close out the afternoon.
A Few Practical Notes & Guidelines: Please bring an umbrella and boots (wear appropriate shoes for uneven farm ground). If it is pouring, the outdoor walk will be adapted, and the tasting and music session will still take place cozily under the tent. Tickets are non-refundable, but they can be easily transferred to another person if your plans change. For the safety of our free-ranging flock, no dogs are allowed. Goronson Farm is a smoke-free property.
